Eligibility Requirements:

- Child age: 8 to 16 years 

- Maximum of 2 children per family 

- Low-Income Cut-Off  Status Required

- Only parents or guardians can apply

 

REQUIRED documents for Application:

- Gov't ID for guardian(s) and child(ren)

- Notice of Assessment for both guardians for the last 2 years - 2022 and 2023, or 2023 and 2024 (Sample)

- Current Canada child benefit (CCB) Notice - It must show marital status and children's names.   (Sample)

- Further documents may be requested to prove eligibility

- Applications only allowed for 2 children per family.

 

Please Note: Documents are only accepted in PDF. Applications submitted without the required documents will be denied.

Shipping Fee Information

The foundation offers all applicants with approved applications the option to pick up their child's bicycle in Calgary, AB, free of charge. If applicants are unable to pick up the bicycle, a flat fee of $75 for Alberta applications and $85 for all other provinces will be charged to subsidize shipping costs.
